Our Story

A house built on a chance stopIf you happen to pass by, please stay a little longer.

We often drive up to the mountains. Not to reach the summit, nor to escape anything. It's just that when the car enters Cingjing, the clouds drift low, and the breeze brushes past the window — life naturally slows down.

One day, we pulled over by the No.6 Pastoral Trail at the 10K mark of Provincial Highway 14A. The meadow stretched out quietly, and sunlight fell on the nearby ridgeline. A year later, we passed by again. The meadow was still there, and so was the breeze. So we stayed, built a house, and gradually, this name came to be.

Running a B&B in the mountains isn't about grand philosophies.

We simply discovered that some things make you want to take good care of this place. The smiles on guests' faces when they leave are often the reason. It's not about ratings or reviews. It's that moment when you realize — the air, the room, and the time here accompanied them on part of their journey.

We don't decorate for the sake of it, nor force every corner to be perfect. Some spots simply have the right light, the right breeze. Every corner says: you can just stay still. Not: come take a photo.
