Our Story

A name born from a promiseThis is SheepVillage. You can come here every day.

Years ago, the owner made a promise to his wife: someday, he would take her to Giethoorn (荷蘭羊角村), the quiet Dutch village where canals run where roads should be.

In the end, it was the sheep who led them here first. A flock wandered down an unmarked meadow off Provincial Highway 14A. Sunlight settled on the ridgeline. They came back a year later and the meadow was still there. So they stayed, built a house, and searched for a name. Every option felt like something was missing.

Until he turned to her and said: This is SheepVillage. You can come here every day.

What we believe in

Running a B&B in the mountains isn't about grand philosophies.

We simply discovered that some things make you want to take good care of this place. The smiles on guests' faces when they leave are often the reason. It's not about ratings or reviews. It's that moment when you realize — the air, the room, and the time here accompanied them on part of their journey.

So at SheepVillage, we focus on doing a few things well.

i.

A Space to Simply BeRoom to breathe

We don't decorate for the sake of it, nor force every corner to be perfect. Some spots simply have the right light, the right breeze. Every corner says: you can just stay still. Not: come take a photo.

ii.

Something RealAuthentic scents

The scent of wood. The smell of grass. Mountain air. And a hint of freshly brewed coffee. We don't have an aroma diffuser. We just open the window.

iii.

Hospitality with MemoryWe remember you

There's no rigid check-in procedure here. When you come, we'll remember you. Next time you visit, you won't need to introduce yourself again.

iv.

The Mountain PaceSlow living

Time moves a little slower in the mountains. It's not that nothing happens — it's just that many things don't need to happen in a rush.
