Current SituationWhat Is the Pet-Friendly Situation in Cingjing?
At roughly 1,750 meters elevation, Cingjing's cool climate is actually very comfortable for pets. However, because weekend bookings are competitive and guests come from all backgrounds, most homestays either refuse pets entirely or charge an extra cleaning fee — typically around NT$500-1,500.
If you're planning a Cingjing trip with your pet, you'll need to do a bit more homework than the average traveler: confirm the homestay's pet policy, ask about fees, and understand any restrictions. Missing even one of these steps could throw a wrench in your plans before you even leave.
SheepVillage takes a different approach.
Our PolicySheepVillage's Pet Policy
We welcome pets — and we don't charge any extra fees.
There's a reason for that. We have a poodle of our own named YangYang. Every time we travel, someone has to stay behind to look after her, or we worry about leaving her home alone. We know exactly how it feels not being able to bring your furry companion along.
So when someone asks "Can I bring my pet?", our first thought was never "Should we allow it?" — it's always been "How can we make them comfortable too?"
Our main pet-friendly room types are L101 Garden Quad Room and 104 Balcony Mountain-View Double. If both are fully booked, let us know your needs via LINE and we'll do our best to arrange an alternative based on availability.
As for quantity, the general rule is up to two pets per room. If you have a special situation, please let us know ahead of time and we'll do our best to accommodate.
House RulesThings to Keep in Mind
To make sure all guests — human and furry — have a comfortable stay, please observe these guidelines:
- Since no extra pet cleaning fee is charged, please give your pet a basic clean before check-in. During your stay, if there is any mess from urination, vomiting, shedding, or anything else your pet causes, please help clean it up promptly and restore the space.
- Please do not let your pet on the bed or touch the bedding, and keep your pet's noise down so as not to disturb other guests.
- We recommend bringing the bed, blanket, or mat your pet usually uses, so they can rest more at ease.
- To maintain quality for all guests, please do not leave your pet alone in the room; if you go out, we suggest a family member stays to look after them.
If you have any other needs or special circumstances, feel free to reach out in advance via our LINE official account @830errwp and we'll do our best to help.
Common AreasCan I Bring My Pet to Common Areas?
Yes. Both the garden and the lobby are open to you and your pet — just keep things tidy.
Mornings in Cingjing are especially cool. Taking your pet out to the garden for some sunshine and fresh mountain air is a lovely experience. If your furry friend enjoys quiet time as much as you do, they'll feel right at home here.
