ItinerarySuggested Day Itinerary
Choose between two approaches based on your pace:
Option A — Take It Slow
Relax at the homestay in the morning, no need to rush for early entry. Both afternoon shows fit nicely in sequence.
If you'd like to take Cingjing Farm at this pace, start by checking whether SheepVillage has rooms on your dates →
Option B — See It All Efficiently
Catch both shows back-to-back, then walk down the Skywalk to Small Swiss Garden in one continuous route. Weekends/holidays only — no sheep show on weekdays.
ParkingParking Tips
Weekend parking is extremely limited. Consider these options in order:
What most travellers dread isn't the mountain road — it's that row of "FULL" signs on a holiday weekend. If you'd rather not build that anxiety into your itinerary, staying at SheepVillage takes parking off your list entirely.
DiningDining
The farm has restaurants, but weekend queues are long. We offer a dining shuttle service — after the shows, we drive you to nearby Restaurants and bring you back, saving you the hassle of driving and finding your way. Contact us via LINE@ to arrange.
The shuttle and our restaurant partnerships are everyday services we open up to SheepVillage guests only. The quickest way to work out the timing for your day is simply to ask us.
Hidden GemHidden Gem Near the Farm
The pastoral area is right next to SheepVillage. No farm ticket needed — you can often see sheep grazing on the meadow next door. Step out in the morning and you might bump into a few sheep on your way. This is everyday life when you live here.
If what you're after is that chance encounter with a few sheep on the road — rather than only seeing animals inside a show ring — see what a Cingjing morning looks like →
Stay NearbyStaying Next to the Farm
After the farm closes, you are still on the mountain. Cingjing at night has no tourists — just stars, silence, and the crisp coolness unique to the highlands. This is what Cingjing truly feels like. To keep a night like this for yourself, browse SheepVillage's 16 Cingjing accommodation options and room rates, and pick a room facing the mountains.
