In support of environmental sustainability, the B&B does not provide personal toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, razor, comb, etc.). Please bring your own.
- Check-in after 3:00 PM; check-out by 10:00 AM. If you expect to arrive late, please call or message us in advance.
- No-shows on the day of check-in will be treated as a cancellation, and the deposit will not be refunded.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire property. Violators will be charged a cleaning fee of NT$10,000. If the room is affected for the next day, an additional night's room fee will apply.
- Cooking or using electrical cooking appliances inside guest rooms is strictly prohibited.
- The shared kitchen is open 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Reservations are made on-site; please register your time slot at the front desk after check-in.
- Guests will be charged for any damage to or excessive soiling of facilities.
- Each bed comes with one quilt: double rooms have 1 bed and 1 quilt; quad rooms have 2 beds and 2 quilts; six-person rooms have 3 beds and 3 quilts.
- Please turn off lights and electrical appliances when leaving the room to save energy.
- After 10:00 PM, please keep noise to a minimum out of courtesy for other guests.
- Common area lights are turned off at 10:00 PM.
- Please keep valuables with you at all times. The B&B is not responsible for any loss.
- Please follow the room's designated occupancy. If you need extra guests, inform us in advance.
- Pets are allowed in select rooms on weekdays only. Please check with the front desk beforehand.
- Being in a mountain environment, insects such as moths, stink bugs, and beetles are common. If you are sensitive to this, please consider carefully before booking.

- Extra bed includes mattress, quilt, pillow, and cleaning fee. An extra quilt costs NT$200 (laundry fee).

* In case of typhoons, earthquakes, or natural disasters that cause road closures — if the local county government issues a work/school suspension order — the deposit may be refunded or held for 3 months to rebook.

Once availability is confirmed, we will provide your check-in dates, room type, room rate, number of guests, and payment details. Please verify that everything is correct.

Pet PolicyPet-Friendly Accommodation
SheepVillage welcomes your furry friends to the mountains. Currently, only rooms L101 (1F) and 104 (2F) accept pets, and only on weekdays.

How to Get HereGetting Here
- For GPS navigation, search "清境羊角村鄉村民宿" (SheepVillage) on Google Maps, or tap this link
- By car: Take National Freeway 6, exit at the interchange, follow Provincial Highway 14 through Wushe, then turn onto Highway 14A toward Cingjing
- After you see the 10K marker on Highway 14A, turn into the lane — look for the SheepVillage sign at the entrance

The five spots on the left are the main parking zone. Park within the red lines, facing outward
Drive up path "1", park facing left to unload your luggage, then move the car down to the main parking area
If the main area is full, take path "2" to the second parking lot. Park side by side, facing outward, as far back as possible
The area marked with X leads to the campground and is not part of our parking area — please do not drive in

FAQFAQ
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is after 3:00 PM; check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you expect to arrive late, please let us know in advance by phone or LINE.
Is the deposit refundable?
It depends on when you cancel: 8+ days before — only the processing fee is deducted; within 7 days — 50% refunded; within 3 days — 30% refunded; same-day — no refund. See the cancellation policy in the "Booking Policies" tab for details.
Can I bring a pet?
Yes, but only in rooms L101 and 104, and only on weekdays. Please inform us via LINE@ before your stay to confirm.
Can I add extra guests or beds?
Yes. Children aged 6 or under (or under 110 cm) stay free. For others: NT$800/night without an extra bed, NT$1,000/night with an extra bed (rates adjusted during Lunar New Year).
Can I cancel due to bad weather?
Cancellations due to weather are considered personal reasons and follow the standard cancellation policy. However, if a typhoon, earthquake, or natural disaster causes road closures and the local county government issues a work/school suspension order, your deposit can be refunded or held for 3 months.
When and how do I pay the remaining balance?
The remaining balance (70% of total room rate) is due on the day of check-in, payable by cash or bank transfer.
Can I reschedule my booking?

How do I get to the B&B? Driving directions?
By car: Take National Freeway 6, exit at the interchange, follow Provincial Highway 14 through Wushe, then turn onto Highway 14A toward Cingjing. After you see the 10K marker on Highway 14A, turn into the lane — you have arrived. Address: No. 179-6, Renhe Rd, Ren'ai Township, Nantou County.
Is the road to the B&B difficult to drive?
After you turn onto the smaller road, there are passing points roughly every 50 meters, usually at curves. Watch for oncoming vehicles — if you meet one, simply wait at a curve and you can pass safely.
This stretch is also one of the meadows where the village sheep like to roam. They sometimes stand quietly by the roadside, and other times appear unexpectedly around a bend. So please drive slowly and enjoy the encounter.
This little road is actually the first scenic view before you arrive.
Is there a shuttle service?
Yes, we offer paid shared shuttle rides from Taichung HSR Station and Taichung Train Station. For details and reservations, please contact us via LINE@.
Does the B&B have parking?
Yes, the parking lot is located below the B&B. For details, please contact us via LINE@ or phone.
How far is it to Cingjing Farm?
About a 12-minute walk or 3-minute drive. SheepVillage is located at the 10K marker on Highway 14A, making it one of the B&Bs within walking distance of Cingjing Farm.
What is there to do nearby?
Cingjing Farm, Cingjing Dark Sky Park, Mt. Hehuan, Lushan Hot Springs, Wuling (the highest point on a Taiwan highway), and Aowanda are all nearby. See our Walking Guide for more.
Which room has the best view? How do I choose?
The higher the floor, the wider the view — 4th-floor rooms have the best scenery in the building. Each room type has its own character:
- Honeymoon Double (103, 203): Features a bathtub and large windows with great natural light. No balcony — ideal for those who want to relax in the tub
- Scenic Quad / Balcony Mountain View (2F: 101, 102, 104, 105): Large balcony with table and chairs — sit back with coffee and enjoy the mountain views. One of our most popular room types
- Scenic Quad / Cozy Mountain View (3F: 201, 202, 204, 205): Small terrace where you can step outside for fresh air and scenery. Also a popular choice
- Panoramic Mountain View (302) and 304 Scenic Quad (304): 4F with large windows — best views in the building. Room 304 faces northeast and offers sunrise views over Mt. Hehuan and Mt. Qilai. Also a popular choice
- 301 Duplex Six-Person Room (301): 4F duplex layout with a small terrace and excellent views

Are there rooms good for stargazing?
The best stargazing spot is the B&B's shared courtyard, which has an unobstructed view of the sky — on clear nights you can see the Milky Way. If you want to stargaze from your room, we recommend the 2F Balcony Mountain View rooms (102, 104), which have spacious balconies with great viewing angles.
Is WiFi available?
Yes, WiFi is available throughout the property. You will receive the login details at check-in.
Is it cold in the mountains? Is there heating?
Cingjing sits at an elevation of about 1,920 meters (6,300 ft). Nights are cool, and winter temperatures often drop below 5°C (41°F). Every room is equipped with an electric heater and heated blanket, but we still recommend bringing a jacket and warm clothing.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included in the room rate. There is a shared kitchen (8:00 AM – 9:00 PM, on-site reservation required) where you can prepare your own meals. Nearby restaurants are also available — see our Partner Restaurants page.
How do I use the shared kitchen?
The shared kitchen is open 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM, on a first-come reservation basis. After check-in, register your time slot at the front desk. Equipment includes a refrigerator, gas stove, pots, pans, and tableware — all free to use. Please clean up after yourself.
